#46 - Try Ethiopian Food (contributed by Anna Bass)
December 12, 2009 - I was in DC to see the Terra Cotta
Warriors at the National
Geographic Museum. Drove down on Friday with Dennis Ljubicic and
his girlfriend Kim, whose last name I won't even try to spell. Did the
warriors and heavy drinking on Friday, and decided to take it easy on
Saturday. So we went out for Ethiopian food at a place aptly named Little Ethiopia
Restaurant. I can't pretend to be an expert on any type of food,
but I can say that this was the most amazing meal I've had in quite a
long time. The food, though we often had only the slightest idea of its
identity, was phenomenal. The portions were more than adequate. Aside
from the fact that it seemed to take forever for our food to arrive,
the entire experience was incredible. Again, I failed to take photos of
the event.
