#97 - Work a Soup Kitchen on Thanksgiving or Christmas (contributed by Erin Hawk)

November 26, 2009 - This one was actually tougher than I'd expected. The hardest part was finding a place that needed help, because so many people had already signed on to help at various places. I ended up getting in touch with a guy from a church in New London who was organizing a multi-congregational soup kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a good experience, and they gave me a huge plate of food to take home. Of course, I finished it all in one sitting.

As a bonus, this was the 30th item I completed on the list.
